Sexy Vampire Red

So this look is inspired by Breaking Dawn. I won't give away any details of why I picked these colors...but I need to add that ever since I saw the this red eyeshadow called "Siren" at LimeCrime...I had to have to it and I had to do a look with it! Plus, those of you with green eyes, red is the color that makes them pop! So enjoy this pretty intense look!

PS-- I didn't really smile in these pictures since I felt being a vampire and all...you really weren't suppose to look happy.

Face (yes I did make my face as pale as I could): CoverGirl Aquasmoother in Ivory and MAC Blot Pressed Powder in Light

Eyes: LimeCrime Siren on lid and inner corner, any black matte eyeshadow color in the crease and under my lower lash line (I used mine from a pro-palette) and a white matte as a highlight (again used the pro-palette). Sephora's Liquid Eyeliner in Black which I winged out at the outter corner of my eye for a more dramatic look. Revlon's Pencil Eyeliner in Black.

Lips: Chanel Glossimer Lipgloss in Moonlight

Smokey Blue

I did this look for a themed birthday party the other night--Glitter Fabulous! <3. I got ambitious and began experimenting. Since I love MAC Satin Taupe I wanted to do a smokey look from that...but not with black. So I did a dark and light blue. Enjoy!

Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC Satin Taupe all over lid. NARS Night Flight smoked out from the crease and on half of the lower lash line. Dior's 5 eyeshadow palette in Twilight--used the lightest blue in inner corner and halfway under bottom lash line. MAC Grand Entrance as a highlight. Sephora liquid eyeliner in Black on upper lash line and Revlon eyeliner pencil in Black on the lower waterline. Benefit's Browzings in Light and Fresh's mascara in Supernova.

Cheeks**

Lips: Chanel Glossimer lipgloss in Seashell

**Instead of a blush, I just used Benefit's Georgia Peach powder all over for just a nice glow with a bit of color.

I just like messing with the contrast in my photos to enhance the intensity plus it looks cool. But yeah this picture above is more for fun and not to show the actual colors of the look.

My Valentines Day look--BELATED

Hey guys sorry it's been awhile. Unfortunately, I had school to contend with involving 4 midterms this past week within two days. At least I survived my week of hell. So I am posting this look and another one tonight. And I plan on sometime this week if my LimeCrime mineral eyeshadow comes in that is to do a "Sexy Vampire Look"--here's a hint, it's a inspired by Breaking Dawn.

Anyways as always enjoy this semi-dramatic night look!

Eyes: Glamour Check on lid, Satin taupe in crease mix with Clinique dark pink from the Pink
Chocolate quad. Light pink in Pink Chocolate quad as a highlight. Sephora liquid eyeliner

lash line. Eyebrows in Benefit's browzings. Fresh's Supernova Mascara in Black.

Beauty from the Earth Haul!!

This was my first time ordering from BFTE and I am very impressed with their multipurpose minerals. They are very pigmented and are only $6.50 for a 5 gram jar. Plus they have 9 pages of colors! I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future, I really want to do a rainbow look and they have the perfect colors for them. And if anyone is looking for an intense blue color, I hear their Blueberry is amazing, which is another color that will be in my order.

Below are the colors I got...Done in different lighting so that it gives you a better look at the colors. Addicted actually was the sample they sent me because you get a free one with each order. A very intense red I'm in love with! I must add that the colors on my hand are used wet with a mixing medium so that it shows their intensity. Also, the colors below certain colors are a duo chrome on a black base. I messed up on Envy because it is not a duo chrome, but Dragon and Mermaid are. Dragon is a bronze/brown with green duo chrome and Mermaid a yellow gold with a light green duo chrome. Isis actually is more red in the jar but turned on more brown when applied on skin wet or dry. It's still pretty nonetheless. And Diamonds is just amazing overall. I am quite pleased with my haul :D

Left to Right:
Addicted, Envy, Isis, Mermaid, Diamonds, Jaded, Dragon, and Spice

Mermaid Inspired Look

I finally got in my Beauty from the Earth multipurpose minerals! So excited. After this post, I will be putting up the swatches from that haul. Below is the look I did with the Mermaid color. This color is a duo chrome, the actual color is a yellow gold, but put on over a black base turns green! I actually used just a black pencil eyeliner, but any black creme shadow or MAC paintpot in Blackground would do better since it's smoother to work with. Enjoy!

Eyes:
BFTE Mermaid on the lid over black eyeliner. Mermaid is also in the crease as its true color (yellow gold)
BFTE Diamonds as a highlight
Benefit's Browzings in Light
Revlon Pencil eyeliner in Black on lower waterline
Sephora Liquid eyeliner in Black on upper lash line
Fresh's Mascara in Supernova

Because Who Doesn't Love Make-Up at Discounted Prices?

Alrighty ladies! Time to take notes. Some of you may know this little treasure I'm about to talk about, but those of you that do not, it is a little place called the Cosmetics Company Store. They sell such brands as: MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, and a couple others I can't think of off the top of my head, all at lower prices than the department stores. They even have perfumes as well. Basically, most of the colors/items here are either discontinued or they have an abundance of at their other stores. However, it is a great find for those pesky MAC collections that come and go in the blink of an eye. Plus, instead of paying the regular $14.50 for a pot of their eyeshadow, it's only $10. Also, they have MAC smaller brush collections. If any of you have tried MAC brushes, you know how amazing they are, so it would be a definite steal in getting one of those sets. I also love their Clinique because I recently got one of their spring collections quad eyeshadow (regualry $25) for only $17.25. Like I said, go check this place out. I mean sometimes it can be a hit or miss, but those especially who follow MAC and didn't get a chance at their Starflash or Cool Heat collection go now and stock up!

Now, I bet you're like omg Ashley, where is this amazing place?! It is at the Allen Outlet Mall! So those of you in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area are in luck. For directions, it is easiest to get on 75 North and exit at Stacy Road and you will see it toward your left. The Company Cosmetics Store is located a couple shops down from The Gap on the far eastern side of the outlet. So go! Now!

My only issue with them is that they do not carry Lancôme because they are apart of a different corporation or something. All the companies at the Cosmetics Company Store are owned by the same corporation. However, Lancôme-Designer Fragrance & Cosmetics is their competitor. Unfortunately, that is only located in Austin. Nonetheless, I am quite happy with Cosmetics Company Store and I hope it is as great a find for you as it was for me.

A Valentine's Day Look

Since it is almost Valentines Day and love is in the air, I decided to play around with a Vday look using mostly pink and red colors. Perfect you all of you who have green or hazel eyes! This really makes them pop. Though because of the way my lid is, you can't really see the darkish red on it, but it's there!

Eyes:
Spell e/s in Bordeaux used wet all over my lid, also used on my lower lash line
Spell e/s in South Beach Sunset in the outer corner and into crease
Spell e/s in Aurora on my inner corner blending into the South Beach Sunset
Spell e/s in Champagne as a highlight color.
Sephora Liquid Eyeliner in Black...I also made just a tiny tick for added dramatic eyes!
Revlon Pencil Eyeliner in Black on lower waterline
Covergirl Lash Blash Mascara in Black
Benefit Browzings in Light

Lips:
Lancome Lip pencil in Sheer Plum
Lancome Lipstick in Pink Diamond
Lancome Lipgloss in Inferno

Sea Dragon Eyes

Today I began playing around with some of my mineral make up from Heavenly Natural Beauty and I got this awesome dark green smokey look. I had been wanting to do a dark green look for awhile, just never had the time to devote to the whole trial and error process, until today that is. And also, I really missed doing dark, dramatic looks with my eyes. So I hope you enjoy!

**From now on in the make up details, I'm only going to put what I used on my eyes, cheeks and lips because everyone has a different routine and mine stays the same for the most. Basically, it gets tedious to type it out every time and I am a bit lazy. I might devote a post in the future on foundation and a face routine in general.

Oh and I also did this look earlier in the day and wasn't able to get to my camera until later. So my liner is a bit faded. As well, I forgot to use my Urban Decay Primer Potion and so of course it creased. Definitely suggest always using a primer on the eyes!

Eyes:
Heavenly Natural Beauty- Sea Dragon used wet, on lid up to crease. This is also on by bottom lash line with Clinique's Eyeliner in Frost on my inner corner for brightening.
MAC- Beauty Marked, in the outer corner of lid, blended into crease
MAC- Grand Entrance, used as a highlight
Revlon Pencil Eyeliner in Black, used on lower waterline
Sephora Liquid Eyeliner in Black, used on top lash line
Fresh's Mascara in Supernova

Cheeks:
Spell Blush in Doll Face

Lips:
Spell Obvious Lipgloss in Jacque
